How exercise benefits the brain

To learn more about how exercise affects the brain, scientists in Ireland recently asked a group of male students stayed to take part in tests of memory which was followed by strenuous exercise.

First off, young people watched automatic sequence of photos with faces and names of foreigners. After the break, they try to remember the name they had just seen as more photos in zip computer screen.

After that, half the students ride the bike a more stationary, heavy pace, until they were tired. Others sat silently for 30 minutes. Then both groups take brain-teaser tests again.

Especially, the volunteers carried out performed significantly better on memory tests than they had their first try, while volunteers who have been resting does not improve.
